The first one happened  many countries began to carry out lockdowns or regional quarantines to control the spread of the Covid-19 virus.  Reported in various places  many sick people  face his death alone without a companion  or spiritual services/consolation which are usually easy/can be done in normal situations. This concern was brought by members in prayer with the hope that the souls of the deceased would receive comfort and help from God. Then in the light of the Holy Spirit he  Remember the words of Jesus to Saint Faustina:

When I entered my seclusion room, I heard these words, “In the hour of his death, everyone who recites the Koronka I will defend as My own glory; or if someone else recites the Koronka for a dying person, he or she will receive the same indulgence. If this Koronka is recited near the bed of a dying person, the wrath of Allah will be quenched and an unfathomable mercy will cover his soul. And, the depths of My tender mercy will be moved because of the grievous suffering of My Son."
Oh, if only everyone realized how great God's mercy is and how much we all need that mercy, especially in those critical times!

(Saint Faustina's Diary - BHSF 811)

So in March 2020, the Manete In Me Prayer Group began reciting the Koronka prayer with special intentions for souls facing death, especially those who face death alone and have difficulty obtaining the last sacraments. This prayer movement is also disseminated to other prayer groups.

Tentang Kami: About
Praying Together
At first....

Departing from their concern and desire to serve, three women, namely Agnes Tjondrowidjojo, Mrs. Ida Rahail and  Florentina Enny started it by trying  provide the necessary means for the development of faith for others.  Specifically  in  an area with a large number of Christians but the facilities  Faith life such as devotional items and spiritual knowledge books still need to be improved. This small group  started its mission in Southeast Maluku in 2013. Then several family members,  relatives and associates who join and group members support one another through  prayer  one along  perform penance and penance as part of devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Along with the passage of time there are also requests for prayer from people outside the group members who are then prayed for together inside  group.

Around the Jubilee of Divine Mercy while searching for information to support group prayer and devotion, one member came across information about the Gregorian Mass and how this sacred custom can help ease the punishment for souls in purgatory.  It is stated in the service provider in America that this Mass is exclusively for the souls but that people who are still alive can order a Gregorian Mass for themselves to be sacrificed after the person concerned dies. Our members are interested  and would like to order a Gregorian Mass for himself so that it can be performed  Holy Mass for 30 consecutive days for the liberation of his soul from purgatory after he died. He also advised other members to do it.  However  This plan has not yet been carried out with the consideration that it may be difficult to contact the organization that provides the service when the customer dies because of its location abroad, apart from the high cost of services at that time.

In the following years, the Manete In Me prayer group involved many ceremonies and rituals surrounding the death due to a family member or  deceased relatives. This encourages prayer groups  seek and do more prayers, devotions and indulgences to help the souls of the dead. Then when the Covid-19 outbreak began to hit the world, some members of the prayer group experienced the light of the Holy Spirit about how prayer groups can help the souls.

The second one happened in June 2020 after  Following the virtual cremation of Fr. Sugiri, one of our members received light from the Holy Spirit about what the dead souls go through  cremated and how to help them and their bereaved families in the process. Often the dead body is left as soon as it enters the cremation oven, either because of crematorium regulations or because it is considered a process that requires prayer has been completed. In fact, during the cremation process, the spirits will be greatly helped by the prayers of their family/relatives.

Based on these two spiritual experiences and the situation where the plague conditions have not passed, the Manete In Me Prayer Group is encouraged to increase prayer, devotion and service to the soul.
